Redmond Nourishing Networks seeking food donations for school kids

Redmond Nourishing Networks will be seeking food donations to help families over the mid-winter break this February.

The network collects food and puts together packages to send home with students over breaks when school nutrition programs are not available.

One box serves four people for roughly four days.

Over the winter break, the network collected approximately 150 boxes of food.

The next donation day is on Feb. 13 for the break that runs from Feb. 15-19.

Food will be collected at the Redmond Presbyterian Church from 7-10 a.m.

The network asks people register what they are bringing online at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4faea72ca2f49-food7.

They are hoping to help feed 30 families.

The Redmond Presbyterian Church is located at 10020 166th Ave. N.E.
