Redmond police seek information on hit-and-run collision: Man being treated for head, leg injuries

A 22-year-old man is being treated with non-life-threatening injuries to his head and leg after a hit-and-run collision Monday morning in downtown Redmond.

A 22-year-old man is being treated with non-life-threatening injuries to his head and leg after a hit-and-run collision Monday morning in downtown Redmond.

The Redmond Police Department is asking the public for assistance in finding out who hit the man, who was struck in a crosswalk at Northeast 85th Street and 164th Avenue Northeast.

At 5:54 a.m., a passerby called 911 reporting a man lying in the roadway at the intersection. The man was transported to Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, where he is receiving treatment.

Investigators believe the man was hit by a 1999-2007 light-colored Chevy vehicle, which many now have a dented hood and/or cracked windshield, according to RPD press release.

The RPD is seeking the assistance of anyone who may have seen or has information regarding this incident and is asking them to call (425) 556-2500.
