Redmond resident earns WWU scholarship

Western Washington University student Adam Christopher Watts, son of Andrew and Cindy Watts of Redmond, has received the $5,000 Kaiser-Borsari Engineering Scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The Kaiser-Borsari Engineering Scholarship is awarded to engineering students who demonstrate high academic potential combined with creativity and leadership qualities.

Watts graduated from Washington High School in 2008. He is an undergraduate student at Western majoring in plastics and composite engineering. He has also received the Ivy Roth Memorial Plastics Scholarship.
