A monthly report released by the Apartment List website said rents on the Eastside continue to increase in year-over-year comparisons.
According to the report, Bellevue remains the most expensive city to rent a two-bedroom apartment on in the Eastside, followed by Redmond, Bothell and Kirkland.
The median monthly rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Bellevue was $2,310 last month, marking a 4.1 percent year-over-year increase.
In Redmond, the median rent was $2,290 and the city saw a year-over-year increase of 4.4 percent.
For Bothell, rents climbed 4 percent over last year for a median monthly rent of $2,140 for a two-bedroom apartment.
Kirkland saw the most dramatic increase with a 5.3 percent increase to put the median monthly rent for a two-bedroom apartment at $2,080.
This is compared to an average rental price of $1,660 per month for a Seattle two-bedroom apartment.
