Bliesner leading over Wilkins in LWSD school board race

Eric Laliberte and Christopher Carlson also ran in unopposed races.

As of the latest results from King County Elections, Siri Bliesner leads the race for the only contested Lake Washington School District (LWSD) school board race.

Updated results came in before 4 p.m. on Nov. 6. Of 115,899 registered voters, 31,060 returned their ballots, putting the voter turnout at 26.8 percent.

Bliesner leads the race with 63.02 percent (16,100) of the votes, while Susan Wilkins garnered 36.58 percent (9,344) of the votes for District 5.

For District 1, Eric Laliberte ran unopposed and notched 99.04 percent (19,596) of the votes on election night.

Christopher Carlson ran unopposed for District 2 and notched 98.95 percent (19,530) of the votes.

All results are according to King County Elections. The election will be certified Nov. 26.
