Sze pleads guilty to three counts of voyeurism at Hartman Pool

Allen Sze pleaded guilty on March 30 to two counts of voyeurism and one count of attempted voyeurism from incidents at Hartman Pool in Redmond in 2016.

According to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the agreed sentence recommendation is 12 months in jail, 36 months of community custody, sex offender registration and sex offender treatment. Sentencing is scheduled at 1 p.m. May 12 before judge Timothy Bradshaw in courtroom E-746 of the King County Courthouse in Seattle.

Sze originally pleaded not guilty to the eight counts of voyeurism at the pool he was charged with in October 2016, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

As previously reported, the 25-year-old WAVE Aquatics lifeguard’s charges stemmed from a report on Sept. 7, 2016 after a cell phone was found inside the female staff locker room taped to a wall at the pool, located at 17535 N.E. 104th St.

Redmond Police Department (RPD) officers arrested Sze that morning while he was there on duty as a lifeguard.

Previous reports state that a Woodinville High School girls swim coach called 911 at 6:39 a.m. on Sept. 7 after a team member located the phone. The team was practicing at the pool at the time.

After interviewing Sze and searching all files on his phone and iPad, police determined that the phone was only placed in the female staff locker room and they have no evidence that videos were shared.

In addition, to the video footage from Sept. 7 there were nine videos on the phone, with dates beginning June 30, 2016. The videos depicted four different females, at least three of which were 16-year-olds, court documents state.
