Together Center recently announced the addition of Linda Atkins of Enumclaw, Byron Shutz of Redmond and Azim Walli of Kirkland to its board of directors.

Atkins is an attorney with Davis Wright Tremaine in Bellevue. She was on the center’s first board in the 1990s and has provided periodic legal assistance since that time, most recently as a pro bono advisor for a replication effort. She was a founding member of the Enumclaw Schools Foundation and volunteers with Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP).

Redmond City Council member Shutz has been an ambassador for the center and recently served on its finance and property operations committee. A Redmond Kiwanian, he is a member of the Lake Washington Schools Foundation Advisory Board and has been involved in a variety of school advocacy roles.

Walli, business development officer for Verity Credit Union in Seattle, was also a board member briefly a decade ago. More recently, he has a very active ambassador for the center.

“We are very lucky to have three such impressive leaders join our board of directors,” said board chair Margaret Moore. “Each has been a very strong supporter of Together Center and brings important expertise and experience to further our efforts to help people find the services they need.”

Also elected at a recent meeting: Retired Issaquah Schools administrator Moore of Bellevue was elected Board Chair. Sammamish City Council Member Kathleen Huckabay is now vice chair. Issaquah resident Rob Forenza of Applied Capital in Bellevue is secretary. Redmond City Council member Hank Myers, a former Together Center chair, is now treasurer.
