I am writing in regards to John Carlson’s defense of Sarah Palin.

He claims that “liberal feminists believe in choice as long as you make the choices they want you to make,” he then wonders what is behind the hostility toward Sarah Palin, and then he goes on to say that she is pro-life (or anti-choice).

If John Carlson read his own piece, he would see that the answer to his question is right in front of his face.

Women are hostile to Sarah Palin because she believes that she has the supreme right to choose what happens to our very own bodies.

As a person who would force me to carry a rapist’s baby, Sarah Palin is far more of a direct threat to my personal freedom than Al Qaeda ever was or ever will be.

As a woman, Palin is a traitor to her own kind and this is where the “hostility” stems from.

The fact that John Carlson is puzzled about this is proof that he is either insincere or sincerely out of touch.
