As a member of the board of trustees for the Crisis Clinic, thank you for the quality of your “Budgets cuts devastating to Eastside non-profits” article in the Nov. 19 issue.

There is a real art to holding readers interest in this area and you succeeded.

You provided a vivid and compelling picture of the work of several agencies and the specific services that would be cut.

Your coverage counters the popular belief that only a certain demographic in our society receives human services.
