Qdoba Mexican Grill will be opening its doors to the Redmond High School community after the Mustangs' next home football game against Woodinville on Sept. 17 for a special "5th quarter" celebration.

Ryan Pirkle, Marketing Specialist for Qdoba, says the idea is to foster community spirit and provide a safe venue for Redmond athletes, superfans, students, boosters and parents to eat and socialize after each of the Redmond home games.

"We've been doing this in Woodinville and just pack the store after the Friday night football game with 150 students and athletes," Pirkle said.

Meals will be free for rostered members of the football team and cheerleaders, while everyone else gets a great deal, $5 for any menu item and a free beverage.

Qdoba, one of Redmond football's halftime sponsors, is located at 15946 Redmond Way, near QFC and Trader's Joe's.

The Booster Club would also like to recognize three additional half time sponsors - SWERVE driver training; Redmond Physical Therapy; and Thrive Community Fitness on Redmond Ridge, for their support.
