Redmond lacrosse players selected for national tournament

Redmond High School sophomore midfielders Claire Monsaas and Kate Wagner, who play for Lake Sammamish Lacrosse Club, were recently selected by the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association to play in the U.S. Lacrosse National Tournament which will take place May 28 and 29 at Stony Brook Univ. in New York.

Highlights of the tournament, which began in 1933, include division championships, a U.S. Team exhibition, an annual high school all-star game and a premier recruiting opportunity for high school players.
