Locals compete for Eastside Catholic in state final

Eastside Catholic's Drew Springfield (left, No. 51) of Redmond makes a block on offense during last Friday's 35-3 loss to Bellevue in the 3A state football final at the Tacoma Dome. Springfield is a first-team All-Metro League selection.

Other Redmond residents on Eastside Catholic's team were: Brian Cox, Connor Heger, Parker Ivan, Jakob Jackson, James Jolliffe, Harley Kirsch, Eric Medeiros, Jake Nealon and Juan Sacchi.
