Redmond Fireballs score state recreational title

The Redmond Fireballs, a boys under-13 District 2 team, won the state recreational playoffs by beating the Vancouver Warriors, 3-1, on Dec. 8.
The Fireballs also finished first in their division and went on to win the District 2 Recreational Cup championship on Dec. 2.
The Fireballs notched an overall season record of 16-1-1, including tournament play.
Redmond Fireballs were: John Alayo, Blake Asplund, George Barling, Jack Ellis, Adrian Fan, Uwimana Fiacre, Nathaniel Garcia, Luke Gibbons, Owen Leslie, Bryce McElfresh, Eric Nickum, Kyle Nickum, Rohan Patel, Gabriel Pombo, Logan Prock, Matthew Rippo, Aiden Spelman, Owen Tavener, head coach Alex Pombo and assistant coaches Arny Leslie and Greg Nickum.
