Erika Hendron threw a three-hit shutout and Paige Mullins had two runs-batted-in as fifth-seeded Redmond defeated No. 4 Juanita , 3-0, in the eight-team 4A Kingco softball tournament on Wednesday.

Jenny Eisenmann went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Baily Mullins returned from a hamstring injury, and got one of the Mustangs four hits.

Redmond played at least two more games on Thursday and Friday, after the Reporter’s deadline.

The only game that Redmond could play in on Saturday is the winner-to-state, loser-out pigtail game with the Greater St. Helens League in Vancouver at 1 p.m.

The two guaranteed spots to state was decided on Friday.
