Bear Creek's season ends in overtime | Boys Basketball

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague defeated Bear Creek in overtime, 65-55, on Saturday to advance to the class 2B state boys basketball elite-eight tournament. Bear Creek's season ends with a 16-7 overall record.

In the regional game at Mountlake Terrace High, Bear Creek led 27-22 at halftime, but Lind-Ritzville/Sprague stormed back to take a 35-31 lead after three periods.

Bear Creek outscored its opponents, 18-14, in the fourth period to tie the game at 49-49 and send it into overtime.

Collin Feight got fouled at the buzzer at the end of regulation play with Bear Creek down by one point. He missed the first foul shot, but made the second one to force overtime.

Feight led Bear Creek with 21 points and Luke Blankenbeckler had 16.

Feight received the sportsmanship medal following the game.
