Eight Redmond High girls golfers make district cut

Eight Redmond High girls golfers made the cut for today's 4A District 2 tournament at Snohomish Golf Course.

Rachel Johnson teed off at 8 a.m. and the rest of the Mustangs followed this morning.

At yesterday's 4A Kingco tourney, Casie Helgeson and Ally Collier both shot 81s on the par-72 course, Caitey Minifie shot 87, Melissa Marquez shot 88, Izzy Jenson shot 94, Cristina Tobin shot 95, Lauren Settle shot 97 and Johnson shot 99.

Redmond finished third with 431 points. Eastlake took first with 399 and Newport notched second with 416.
