The girls’ U17 Crossfire Premier McCormicks team won four games before defeating Cal South’s Real So Cal Blue team 3-0 in the finals of the FarWest Regional Tournament held last week in Lancaster, Calif. to be named Regional Champions. This team, of which nearly all players have committed to playing soccer at Division I colleges, earned a chance to play at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships July 21-26 in Lancaster, Mass. at Citizens Bank Fields at Progin Park.
