Redmond Athletic Club to host summer boot camps
May 18, 2010 · 9:44 AM
Eastsiders can get in shape for the summer by enrolling in Mike Lawson's Boot Camp. Lawson, a Sergeant in the U.S. Army with eight years of service, has been hosting camps in Seattle for the last 12 years.
Lawson is taking his popular program of a strenuous, yet fun, Army-style workout combining techniques from gym class and military training to the Redmond Athletic Club (RAC) this summer.
New sessions begin on Tuesday, June 8, at 6 p.m. in front of the RAC's rock wall. The class will train rain or shine on Tuesday and Thursday nights and use some of the gym's facilities, mixed with outdoor training throughout Redmond. Cost is $75 for RAC members and $125 for non-members.
