The Redmond Senior Baseball All-Stars (ages 15-16) placed second in the state tournament last month after a 10-4 defeat at the hands of District 10 champions Chinook/Kent, who went undefeated in the tournament.

Redmond opened the tournament with 5-0 and 12-3 victories over Richmond and PacWest, respectively, before falling to Chinook/Kent in the state semifinals 14-2.

In the consolation bracket, Redmond survived a rematch against Richmond 6-4 to advance to the title game, where they were outmatched against Chinook/Kent's powerful offense.

The Redmond All-Stars were the District 9 champions this year, earning them a berth into the state tournament.
