• Accomplishments: In his first two games back after three weeks off, Schmidt scored four goals and had three assists in Overlake’s pair of road wins last week. He scored two goals and two assists in a 7-5 win at Eastside Catholic on April 30, and then scored two more goals and tallied another assist in Overlake’s 7-6 nail-bitter at Sammamish on May 2. Overlake didn’t play a game between April 3 and April 24 due to spring break and project week, and Schmidt didn’t play in the first three games after break.

• What is your dream profession: To become a stock broker because of their involvement with world news and relations, but also because of their interaction with important figures.

• Did you Know?: Schmidt broke onto the lacrosse scene early this year, being named the most valuable player in the first tournament of the season. Schmidt is on the varsity soccer team, which made the state tournament, and is a member of the national society of high school scholars.
