Lozier to participate as coxswain at 2017 World Rowing Championships

Lauren Lozier of Redmond has been selected to represent the Northwest and the country as a coxswain in the Youth Regional Challenge at the 2017 World Rowing Championships starting Sunday in Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida.

In 2016, Lozier, 15, led the Sammamish Rowing Association novice girls to a regional championship, and was nominated by a group of regional coaches to coxswain at the worlds.

Lozier is a sophomore at The Bear Creek School.
