Overlake girls doubles team takes third at state

Overlake’s girls doubles team of Kamila Meghji and Mihika Srinivasan placed third at the 1B/2B/1A state tournament on May 24-25 at the Yakima Tennis Club.

The Owls won two, lost in the semifinals and then beat Stella Johnson/Megan Evans of Cascade, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, to take third.

Overlake placed seventh in the team standings.
