Overlake girls soccer wins opener at state

Overlake’s girls defeated Montesano, 4-1, on Tuesday to advance in the 1A state soccer tournament. Jenna Lacy scored two goals, and Kayla Ngai and Sofia Beachman tallied for the Owls as well. Overlake will next play Klahowya in the quarterfinals at 5 p.m. Saturday at Silverdale Stadium.
