With a 27-10 victory over Eastlake last Friday night, Redmond finished in a three-way tie for third place with Eastlake and Inglemoor in the 4A Kingco Crest Division and will participate in a mini-playoff tonight at Skyline.

Starting at 7 p.m., Eastlake and Inglemoor will play two, 12-minute halves; the loser will then take on Redmond (1-3 division, 2-6 overall) in another two, 12-minute half matchup.

The winner of the first contest will play Roosevelt at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday at Memorial Stadium; the winner will advance to a quad district playoff.

The winner of the Redmond/Eastlake or Inglemoor game will play at Newport at 7 p.m. on Saturday; the winner will also advance to a quad district playoff.

The loser of contest No. 2 will play at Garfield on Saturday at a time be announced in a season-ending game.

Last Friday, Redmond shot out to a 10-0 first-quarter lead over Eastlake on a Nick Kopak 45-yard field goal and Zach Wheat-to-Chris Carpenter 20-yard touchdown strike.

The Mustangs led 17-7 at the half following a Wheat 1-yard TD run.Kopak added a 52-yard field goal and Parker Cagle had an 11-yard TD run in the second half.
