Redmond High’s state-bound dance team will perform on March 19 at school

Redmond High’s dance team is headed to state March 23 at the Yakima Valley SunDome. The squad will be hosting its state showcase at 6:30 p.m. March 19 at RHS. The team will be performing its state-qualifying hip-hop, military and pom routines.

The team has added two new assistant coaches this season, Mary Krosinjar and Kristy Winter, who have “amazing dance backgrounds,” according to a press release, and Krosinjar is the choreographer of the hip-hop routine.

Redmond’s dancers will also attend the new baseball/softball field opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. March 18 to cheer on the teams.
