Redmond softball pitchers no-hit Bainbridge in district win

Kiki Milloy and Sophia Viola combined for a no-hitter as Redmond softball beat Bainbridge, 8-0, on Thursday night and moves into the 3A SeaKing District championship game against Holy Names Academy at 7 p.m. tonight at the Southwest Athletic Complex in Seattle.

Redmond has already qualified for state.

Kiki Milloy had eight strikeouts in four innings pitched and earned the win; Sophia Viola got the save with two strikeouts.

On the hitting front, Mara Kipnis went 3-for-4 and cranked a three-run homer; Jen Cummings went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two doubles; Lindsay Tsujikawa went 2-for-4 with two RBIs; and Milloy went 2-for-4.
