Redmond High rebounded from an early round loss to sweep Lake Washington High in three games in the 3A KingCo volleyball playoffs last Saturday night. Scores were 25-17, 25-14, 26-24.

Ally Ford amassed 21 assists, Elise Petit notched 17 kills and 10 digs and Emma Thomas fired five aces.

The Mustangs (13-4 overall) finished third in the tourney and advance to this week’s district playoffs. They will take on Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at Lakeside. The loser is out and the winner will play Lakeside at 7:30 p.m. the same night.

Bellevue High bounced Redmond High, 3-1, in the teams’ opening match of the 3A KingCo volleyball playoffs last Thursday night at Bellevue High. Scores were 24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.

For Redmond, Ford had 32 assists and Petit had 24 digs and 20 kills.
