“I think my best memory from the season was when we became outright winners of the Crest Division after beating Skyline at their school, after losing to them earlier in the year. It was a pretty nip-and-tuck game that we won, 3-2. Seeing the guys get to experience that, the taste of winning, and recognition, was fun. After that, we hopped a bus and went to Red Robin for a celebratory dinner, which was really fun. The kids played a little joke on me and told the servers it was my birthday, so they brought me a little cake and sang me the song and all the other stuff. It was pretty nice.”
