Meet Redmond author Jennifer Brozek, the creator and co-editor of the “Grants Pass” anthology (August 2009, Morrigan Books) at SoulFood Books and Cafe, 15748 Redmond Way, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.
Brozek is a freelance author for many RPG companies including Margaret Weis Productions, Rogue Games and Catalyst Game Labs. Her contributions to RPG sourcebooks include “Dragonlance,” “Castlemourn,” “Colonial Gothic,” “Shadowrun” and “Serenity.” She has also co-authored three books including “Dragonvarld Adventures” with Margaret Weis.
“Grants Pass” is “a post-apocalyptic anthology” in which humanity has been decimated by bio-terrorism and barely anyone has served. But a year before the collapse, Grants Pass, Ore. was publically labeled as a place of sanctuary in a whimsical, online “what if?” post. The premise of the book is, “Would you go to Grants Pass based on the words of someone you’ve never met?”
