Nearly 300 elementary students across the Lake Washington School District attend ‘Paws to Read’

Nearly 300 elementary students across the Lake Washington School District gathered at Benjamin Franklin Elementary for the “Paws to Read” young author’s event Saturday.

Sponsored by the Lake Washington Literacy Council, the event featured special guest author Ben Mikaelsen, and local authors Bonny Becker and Tom Brenner. During the event, guest authors and students read to each other.
