Politicians to partially blame for shootings

You see the faces: A beautiful, wonderful child, born on Sept. 11, 2001, full of hope for the future when she could have been thinking the other way, gunned down by Jared Lee Loughner, who purchased his killing weapon from “Sportmans Warehouse” Tucson, Arizona.

Let us never forget her name, Christina Taylor Green, just 9 years old. If you have children or grandchildren it is so horrific it is hard to even comprehend such a senseless tragedy.

Of course we know about the others that were murdered and shot, along with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Even if she survives, she will never be the same. Let’s not forget about the others that took bullets and might be paralyzed, severely injured or mentally impaired forever.

If you want to see something really negative Google Tea Party, Sarah Palin and gun posters. I am not saying these people are totally responsible for the senseless killing, but don’t they have enough human compassion to realize that there are deranged people in our society with guns.

Sarah Palin’s Facebook shows a U.S. map with gun sights aimed at Democrats and yes Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is one of them. I know she has to be a good person deep down inside and would not want anything like this to happen but where are her brains?

Here are some Tea Party Posters carried at rallies across the country. They are so full of hate you wonder what kind of minds are at work: “Berry Obama with Kennedy,” “We Came Unarmed (This Time),” “Homeland Security, a Citizen With A Gun,” and “I Got A Trigger Right Here (shows a picture of a gun). It’s Called the 2nd Amendment.”

It is too bad I have to sit here writing such things. What happened to our beloved America, envied by the world? If we don’t stand up and let our thoughts be known it could be too late and “trigger” more deranged souls like Loughner.

Politicians, many of you are responsible, too, for not speaking out against hate mongers like Rush Limbaugh and the negative, anti-liberal, so-called cable news channel Fox News.

Thank you for taking time to read my thoughts.
