Redmond High students place at DECA competition in Orlando

Twenty-nine Lake Washington School District students recently competed at the DECA International Conference held in Orlando, Fla.
The students qualified for the event at the state level and were among more than 15,000 students representing 50 states, Guam, Ontario, Mexico, Germany and more. They competed in more than 50 career pathway competitions.
Redmond High School (RHS) took 17 students to Orlando with the following students placing:
Seniors Erin Windham and Logan Dougherty, subcategory winners in role play in Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team Decision Making and senior Maddy Harrison, 11th place in Apparel and Accessories.
RHS DECA’s student store was also re-certified at the gold level.
