LWSD superintendent meet-and-greet event in Kirkland slated for Feb. 2

The Kirkland meet-and-greet event with Lake Washington School District (LWSD) superintendent candidate Dr. Traci Pierce has been rescheduled for Feb. 2 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Kirkland City Hall, at 123 Fifth Ave., in the Peter Kirk room.

The meeting is one of four held to give the public the opportunity to meet Pierce and provide feedback for the LWSD board of directors. Three of the meetings were rescheduled due to the snow, wind and ice storms during the week of Jan. 16-20.

A meet and greet was held at Redmond City Hall on Jan. 10 and the LWSD Resource Center hosted an event on Jan. 25. The final meet-and-greet event will be Feb. 7 at Sammamish City Hall, located at 801 228th Ave. S.E. in Sammamish. The meeting will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
