Rockathon semifinals slated for March 23-24 at Redmond teen center

The Rockathon Semifinals will be March 23-24 and feature seven musicians and be held at the Old Redmond Fire House Teen Center.

Semifinalists have been selected for the sixth annual Classic Rockathon competition at the Old Fire House Teen Center (OFH), 16510 N.E. 79th St. in Redmond, on March 23 and 24.

Both shows will be at 8 p.m. and admission is $8 or $7 with a donation of a canned item for Hopelink.

Derek White, Catalyst and Ryot will perform on Friday and Box, Hana Kirchoff, Scinite and The Hebephrenics will perform on Saturday.

The eighth band had to decline to play due to scheduling conflicts.

OFH helps young musicians get to the next level by providing opportunities such as the Rockathon competition where they can be heard by industry professionals, win prizes and receive some of the tools and resources they need to be successful.
