Redmond residents coming to McDonald’s Book Exchange for reading of ‘Healing Romance & Revolution’

On May 3, Redmond residents Carolyn and Dennis Buckmaster will be at McDonald’s Book Exchange, at 16415 N.E. 83rd St. in Redmond, will be reading and showing a slide show from their book “Healing Romance & Revolution” from 6-8 p.m.
Through letters, the book tells the story of Seattleite Harriet H. Smith, a young nurse in 1926 China who went on to become a University of Washington Nursing School professor.
