On May 18 and 19, Evergreen Family Theatre’s 2nd Stage Teen program will present “Death By Chocolate” by Paul Freed.

Directed by Taylor Schupbach, the show will be at 7 p.m. both nights with an additional 3:30 p.m. show on May 19. Pay-what-you-can tickets are available at the door.

“Death” will be presented at RedWood Family Church, located at 11500 Red-Wood Rd. For more information, visit www.evergreenfamilytheatre.org, email evergreenfamily@gmail.com or call (425) 885-2244.

The play focuses on the newly renovated Meadowbrook Health Resort, where people are dropping like flies on the eve of its grand re-opening. Manager John Stone works to find the cause and the murderer. Stone finds himself teaming up with Ed Parlor, mystery writer and amateur sleuth, in a race against time.

The clues point to a sinister box of chocolates and the suspects include everyone working for the resort, from resort owner Lady Riverdale and gym instructor Ralph Deadwood to aerobics instructor Dick Simmering and panic-stricken nurse Anne.
