On May 18 and 19, The Overlake School Middle School Production Workshop class will present “The Witches.”

The story, based on Roald Dahl’s classic novel, follows a young boy and his grandmother as they take on a convention of witches.

Performances will be at The Overlake School’s Fulton Performing Arts Center at 20301 NE 108th St. in Redmond. Friday’s show will be at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday’s showing will be at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for children, students and seniors, and $8 for adults. For tickets and more information, visit www.overlakearts.com.

The Middle School Production Workshop class is composed of seventh and eighth-graders who have spent the term honing their acting skills, learning how to prepare a role, production expectations and theater etiquette as they worked toward putting on this full-scale production.
