Puget Sound Energy (PSE) will hold a community meeting on June 20 at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, located at 16600 N.E. 80th St., to discuss its Sammamish-Juanita 115 kV Transmission Line Project.

The meeting will be in the auditorium from 6-8 p.m. and include a presentation by PSE and a facilitated question-and-answer session.

During the meeting attendants can learn about the challenges facing the local electric system and how PSE plans to address those challenges with a new 115 kilovolt transmission line. People can also learn about the public involvement process, discuss the route alternatives, ask questions and provide comments.

A second meeting — covering the same information — will be held on June 23 at Evergreen Hospital at 12040 N.E. 128th St. in Kirkland. The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the Surgery and Physicians Center in rooms TAN 100 and 101.
