thinkspace in Redmond to host startup forum on Wednesday

On Wednesday, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to design a successful startup at thinkspace, located at 8201 164th Ave. N.E., Suite 200 in Redmond.

The event, Dead on Arrival – The Top 7.5 Startup-Killing Mistakes, will be from 5:30-8 p.m. will be hosted by Conceivian, a company that helps startups throughout the process including strategy, planning, design, development and launch.

Wednesday’s forum will feature seven TED-style talks by recognized startup experts followed by a panel discussion moderated by Bryan Brewer of Business Plans Northwest.

Speakers include:

  • Gillian Muessig, Founding President of SEOmoz
  • Cathi Hatch, Founder and CEO of ZINO Society
  • Vin Ricci, Attorney at Foster Pepper
  • Bryan Starbuck, Former CEO and founder of TalentSpring
  • Peter Weiss, Financial Consultant to Early Stage Companies
  • Kunal Mahajan CTO of Conceivian

Throughout the course of the evening attendees will learn how to identify the most common and deadly startup mistakes and the simple steps they can take to put their startup on the right path.
