Three hundred forty people at Redmond Town Center participated in this year's 'Thriller' dance routine as part of a worldwide attempt to break the record for largest simultaneous dance.

This year’s Thrill the World event brought in $7,415 for the SecondStory Conservatory (SSC) in Redmond Town Center.

The event was organized by Redmond Zombies and included a dance performance to Michael Jackson’s song, “Thriller” by 340 participants as part of a worldwide attempt to set the record for largest simultaneous dance.

The money raised for SSC came from various sources: $5,630 from dancer registration fees, $1,131 from dance workshops, $210 from donations and $444 from merchandise.

SSC is SecondStory Repertory’s education program and the money raised will help keep costs down and make arts education accessible to everyone, regardless of income level.
