Redmond High’s Moriyama earns first-team tennis selection

Redmond’s Kana Moriyama was a 4A Kingco first-team selection this season. Other standouts, according to coach Stephen Thornsberry, were Haley Blatter and Faye LaFond, who both switched from singles to become a doubles team and came within one game of making the district quarterfinals.

Jessie Liu, Leticia Santillana-Fernandez, Meg Holtzinger, Erin Friedland, Amanda Lin, Danika Shtukin and Anastasia Veryovka also made an impact for the Mustangs.
