Redmond High fastpitch defeats Ballard, 3-0

Redmond High’s fastpitch team defeated Ballard, 3-0, on Monday in the first round of the 4A Kingco tournament at Woodinville High.

Tatyana Forbes and Lauren Mars had two hits, Kaija Gibson had one hit and one RBI and pitcher Emily Rockhill earned the win with seven strikeouts.

Redmond will play Woodinville at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in a winner-to-state game at Inglemoor High.

The Mustangs, 15-6 overall, finished 9-5 in the Crest Division.
