Redmond High trailed 12-0 at halftime to Snohomish High, but the home-team Mustangs scored 23 points in the third and fourth quarters to notch their fourth straight victory, 23-15, last Friday.

Bryce Steckler scored on runs of 1 and 5 yards and added a two-point conversion run to tie the game at 15-15 with 10:47 left in the fourth quarter.

A.J. Rial recorded a tackle for a safety to give Redmond the lead with 2:47 remaining, and quarterback Zach Wheat threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Hall with 1:41 left.

Redmond outrushed Snohomish 137 yards to 91 yards; Snohomish outpassed Redmond 220 yards to 156 yards. For Redmond, Steckler gained 120 yards on 27 carries and Wheat was 12-for-24 for 156 yards. Hall snagged three passes for 100 yards and Chris Carpenter had five catches for 48 yards.

On defense, Jake Talbot had 14 tackles (seven solo, seven assist) and Spencer Smith had 11 tackles (seven solo, four assist).

Redmond will play Bothell at 7 p.m. on Friday at Pop Keeney Stadium.
