Washington Gov. Jay Inslee visited DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond Thursday afternoon for a tour of the school.

The goal of his visit was to learn more about the gaming industry and what can be done in education — especially in the earlier stages of high school — to keep it going. Inslee visited classrooms and spoke with students who were developing a video game as well as students from DigiPen’s high school program.
