The Art of Living Foundation will sponsor a Breathe In, Breathe Out and Be Happy five-day workshop Oct. 17-21 at the Segt. Foley Hall, (VFW Post 2995), 4330 148th Ave. N.E., Redmond.
Hosted by Patricia Montella, a senior Art of Living teacher, the workshop introduces participants to the world of breath and how they are directly linked to emotions. Participants will learn the Sudarshan Kriya, a powerful technique that incorporates specific natural rhythms of breath to release stress and purify the entire system by releasing toxins at the deepest cellular level.
The workshop also includes stretching and low-impact yoga for health, circulation and physical well-being, as well as guided meditation and breathing techniques that increase energy and deeply relax the body and mind, thereby promoting a happier state of mind.
The Art of Living Foundation is a nonprofit, educational and humanitarian organization founded in 1981 by humanitarian and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
