Former Microsoft senior program manager charged with rape will go on trial May 13

Vineet Kumar Srivastava, who was charged with second-degree rape of a Microsoft Corp. janitor last July, had his scheduled April 14 trial continued to May 13 at King County Superior Court.

The 36-year-old former Microsoft senior program manager was arraigned on Aug. 14 and entered a not-guilty plea to the charges. He’s out of custody after posting bond in July.
