Woodinville defeats Redmond in playoffs; Mustangs will play Skyline today | 4A Kingco baseball

Woodinville High defeated Redmond High, 7-4, on Monday in the second round of the 4A Kingco baseball playoffs.
Woodinville led 5-2 after two innings and 6-4 after three innings in the game played at Woodinville High. For Redmond, Brendan Ecklebarger had an RBI double and Milo Mincin had an RBI single.
Redmond will take on Skyline at 4 p.m. today at Woodinville High in a loser-out contest.
Redmond (14-6 overall) has benefited from strong pitching this year, according to coach Dan Pudwill. Kyle Francis was 4-0 in the Kingco regular season and earned Saturday’s 6-1 victory over Issaquah in the playoffs. Other pitchers with wins are Ecklebarger, Mincin, Jacob Brady, Jack Baugher and Lucas Eliason.
