Redmond woman charged with assault, domestic violence arraigned on Tuesday

A 54-year-old Redmond woman who was charged with assault in the first degree — domestic violence for reportedly stabbing her 66-year-old husband on the morning of April 28 was arraigned on Tuesday in King County Superior Court, according to a press secretary for the King County Prosecuting Attorney Office.

Court documents state that defendant Christine Welker was charged on April 30 and is being held in King County Jail in Seattle on $500,000 bail. Her case setting is scheduled for May 27.
