Published 12:06 pm Friday, May 30, 2014
The City of Redmond and Seattle-based development firm Capstone Partners will present the final design proposal for the Overlake Village Park — now called Esterra Park — to the Parks and Trails Commission at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday on the first floor of City Hall in the Council Conference Room, located at 15670 N.E. 85th St.
Limited time will be available for the public to comment on the proposal after the presentation.
This presentation is the last in a series of public forums previously held to gain feedback on the park design, which will be constructed at the center of a master-planned site. Capstone’s biggest project is Esterra Park, a Redmond project that could have as much as 1.2 million square feet of office space, 1,400 residential units and a 200-room hotel. Capstone Partners will build and maintain the public park.
After receiving feedback from the public and Parks and Trails Commission regarding the proposed park design, the Capstone team will present a final design concept to the City Council this summer.
