Redmond Boy Scout Troop 423 announced its newest Eagle Scouts (from left to right): Mitchell Scanlan, Aaron Fink, Nathan Moon and Brandon Ward.
The boys, all seniors at Redmond High School, have earned the highest rank in scouting. To earn the Eagle rank they each completed a minimum of 22 merit badges while demonstrating a strong commitment to community service, leadership and scouting values. They experienced many adventures together, including a 55-mile hike on the Pacific Coast Trail, 50-mile canoe trips on Ross Lake, a weeklong live-aboard sailing/scuba outing in the Florida Keys and many other camping and hiking trips. Troop 423 is chartered by the Lions Club and meets at the Union Hill Church in Redmond.
